I couldn't be more excited to be teaming up with one of my all time favorite iconic photographers, Annie Leibovitz, to bring awareness to her new exhibition: WOMEN: New Portraits. Annie's exhibition will be seen in ten cities including London, Tokyo, Singapore to name a few, and is based on her AMAZING book Women in Portraits that was originally published in 1999.
This series showcases the changes in the roles of women today and includes work from the original series, as well as never before seen photos too!
WOMEN: New Portraits is all about the everyday women heros in our lives. Heros, as we know, come in all shapes and sizes. A hero doesn't need to have super powers to be a powerful person in your life. My everyday hero is without a doubt, my beautiful daughter Chloe.
Chloe may not have many years under her belt, but she is by far the most mature and loving woman that I know. At 23 years of age, she has been through more than most people triple her age have endured, and she always comes out with more strength and a better person because of it.
She is not only my daughter, she is my very best friend. There is no one in the world I am closer too, or have built a better relationship with.
We do everything together.......from shopping trips, cooking, vacations and quiet talks that last into the wee wee hours of the night.
A hero is sometimes quiet and sits in the background, but you always feel their strength with you wherever you may go. Chloe is my everyday hero.....she makes me want to be a better person, everyday.
You too can #ShareYourHero and enter to win a trip to New York City to meet Annie Leibovitz in November and see the WOMEN: New Portraits exhibition in person!
