Who doesn’t love the wafting smell of baking brownies filling up your house? Did you know that even the faintest smells can trigger memories from years ago?
Thankfully, I have so many wonderful ones of baking & cooking with my Mother as a child. She passed on when I was 15 years old, so I hold onto those pretty tightly. I’m so happy that my daughter and I can do the same. She just turned 23 years old a few days ago, but never too old to crack eggs with Mom.
I do it. You do it. We all do it……..use the box brownie mix from the grocery store. Why not? It’s fast and everything you need is right there in the box. This recipe is homemade, so why not use real ingredients when you can if it’s just as easy? The only thing I didn’t have on hand was the cocoa.
Whoa, What a difference. I believe the cocoa powder is responsible for their awesomeness!
Bake & enjoy!
